At Mech Mental Health Innovations, the use of NeuroStar TMS in life-changing therapies provides a non-invasive, drug-free modality by which one can attend to such conditions as depression and OCD.

This guide will take you through the process of TMS, its advantages, and why this could be the best fit for you. Call our office today to gain a greater understanding of the TMS procedure.

How is TMS Therapy Performed?

NeuroStar TMS therapy delivers magnetic pulses to selected parts of the brain that control mood. These neural pathways are rewired to elicit increased brain activity. TMS therapy is FDA-cleared and has proven effective in patients who have responded poorly to other therapies.

You will sit during the treatment with a device on your head. The device sends focused magnetic pulses to the brain areas implicated in your condition. Sessions last 20 to 40 minutes, and you can return immediately to your daily activities—no anesthesia or recovery time.

What to Expect On Your TMS Journey

Your TMS treatment at Mech Mental Health Innovations in Frisco begins with a personalized consultation. The staff will take the time to listen to and understand your history, symptoms, and treatment goals. We employ only quality tools, such as biomarker analysis and genetic profiling, to devise a highly specified treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

Some patients have reported feeling a tapping due to the magnetic pulses. These sessions, over time, tend to normalize and improve the use of your brain, and symptoms often decrease noticeably after a few weeks of treatment.

Benefits of Choosing TMS Therapy

TMS therapy is a game-changer for several reasons:

Non-invasive and Drug-Free

Unlike traditional treatments based on medication, which often have many side effects, TMS goes directly to the brain.

Tailored to Your Needs

The specialists at Mech Mental Health Innovations implement new technologies to personalize every aspect of treatment.

Convenience and No Disturbance

TMS therapy sessions can be scheduled around your busy schedule, and no downtime is required, making them great for highly active and busy individuals. You can continue with your daily activities immediately after each session.

Proven Results

For many patients, dramatic improvement in symptoms can give hope for a better future. At Mech Mental Health Innovations, we are committed to guiding you and determining whether this treatment is right for you.
